David Webster

David grew up in Nova Scotia and joined Sandpiper in 2021 soon after completing the MBA program at Saint Mary’s University.
He has extensive experience conducting research in both financial and academic contexts.
At Saint Mary’s University, David was an Equity Research Associate for the Impact Investment Fund where he provided coverage on publicly traded Canadian companies in the Information Technology and Communication Services sectors.
Prior to completing the MBA degree, David received his Honours B.A. in Psychology and Business from Mount Allison University and subsequently completed a Master of Kinesiology degree at Wilfrid Laurier University.
Following from his earlier competitive flat-water kayaking experiences, the focus of David’s thesis research was on group dynamics and the antecedents of cohesion in a sports context.
