Amara has been Vice President of CRT Properties, Inc. since June 19, 2000.
He previously held the position of Assistant Treasurer and Assistant Secretary of Crocker Realty Trust, Inc., a private real estate investment trust (REIT) from November 1997 to June 2000.
He previously was Director of Financial Reporting of Crocker & Associates, L.P., a private real estate limited partnership, from July 1996 to November 1997.
He served as Financial Reporting Manager of Crocker Realty Trust, Inc., a public REIT from July 1, 1995 to June 30, 1996.
He began his career in public accounting with KPMG Peat Marwick.
He was an Audit Manager when he left the accounting firm to join Crocker.
He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BS in Business Administration from Indiana University and a Masters of Accounting from Florida Atlantic University.
