They have no particular industry preference, but targets include business services, consumer goods & services, retail, industrials & manufacturing, and telecoms, media and communications. Their geographic focus is on Poland. The firm creates value by sourcing and executing unique investment opportunities. They believe superior investment returns are achieved by focusing on difficult transactions which are not obvious targets and commit significant time, resources and managerial experience to unlock value. They typically invest at least EUR 10 million via capital increase or purchase of existing shares in leading companies in an attractive market segment, with a proven business model, an established position and significant growth potential. ICENTIS seek majority ownership in their investee companies, partnering with management and acting as a catalyst to build value. They assemble management teams if fundamentally attractive companies lack talented leaders and take positions at supervisory boards and as temporary management board members to provide support in critical phases of investment thesis implementation. They also advise on management recruiting and retention at all levels, geographic expansion, acquisitions, revenue enhancement initiatives, operations and logistics, key performance indicators, financial reporting and management systems. The firm typically holds investments for three to seven years.
