Boodell is a Partner & Research Analyst at Indus Capital Partners LLC.
Prior to joining Indus Capital in 2015, Mr. Boodell was the managing partner and portfolio manager of Boodell & Co. Capital Management where he managed an Asia-focused long/short equity fund from 2010 to 2015.
From 2005-2009 he was partner and senior analyst at Eastern Advisors Capital Management, an Asia-dedicated hedge fund under the Tiger Management umbrella, analyzing Asian equities to identify both long and short investment opportunities across sectors.
Mr. Boodell began his career in 1995 at Jardine Fleming in Hong Kong in Emerging Market Program Trading and Equity Derivative Sales, where he worked to pioneer synthetic equity access products in India, Taiwan and Korea.
He moved to New York in 1997 with Robert Fleming Company to expand the Asia derivatives and program trading business.
Mr. Boodell also worked for the office of the CEO of Chicago Public Schools as Director of Special Initiatives from 2002 – 2003.
Mr. Boodell graduated with a B.A. cum laude from Princeton University in 1993, and obtained an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business in 2005.
He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Untermyer Gardens Conservancy.
