Joe Williams

Joe Williams joined Kennedy Lewis in 2023 and is a Managing Director and Head of National Accounts for Kennedy Lewis Capital Company.
Mr. Williams was formerly a Managing Director and Head of Distribution at Cadre, LLC, a fintech company focused on democratizing access to institutional quality real estate private equity, where he was responsible for managing both the direct to High Net Worth and Intermediary sales teams.
Prior to Cadre, Mr. Williams was Head of Distribution at Altegris in La Jolla, CA from 2018-2020.
Prior to Altegris, Mr. Williams was with Cohen and Steers, an Asset Manager focused on real assets and preferred securities, in New York, NY from 2009-2017.
He began at Cohen and Steers as a regional vice president, Broker Dealer Channel, and was eventually promoted to senior vice president, National Sales Director of Wealth Management Consulting where he was responsible for managing a 23-person internal and external sales team.
Prior to joining Cohen and Steers, Mr. Williams was a regional vice president for Evergreen Investments, the former investment management business of Wachovia, in Boston, MA and held positions at J&W Seligman in New York, NY beginning in 1998.
Mr. Williams began his career in finance in 1993 as an institutional Government Bond Broker at Cantor Fitzgerald L.L.C.
in New York, NY.
Mr. Williams earned a BA in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross, and holds the CAIA designation.
