Cynthia L. Davis

Cynthia Davis has several years of experience in equity research and investment banking with a background in economics and finance.
She began her career as an Investment Banking Analyst with Credit Suisse First Boston in London, England.
In this position, she worked in the Company’s Healthcare group, advising pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies regarding corporate structure as well as potential mergers and acquisitions.
She also worked on a number of sell-side transactions in various industries, assisting companies to sell either subsidiaries or themselves.
Cynthia moved to San Diego in 2002 where she began working at Aequitas Consulting Group, San Diego’s premier Healthcare and Biotechnology consulting firm, as an associate in their financial division.
In this position, she created in-depth research reports on biotechnology and healthcare companies through a comprehensive analysis of each company’s product pipeline, financial data and competitive situation, creating detailed models for each company reviewed.
Cynthia graduated from Huron College at the University of Western Ontario (Canada) with a bachelor degree in Economics and passed the Level III CFA exam in June 2001.
