Klivan, CPA, is Chief Operating Officer & Director at BBR Partners LLC.
Prior to joining BBR, Mr. Klivan was a Managing Director of Amber Partners where he was responsible for all aspects of Amber's US operations including the delivery of its operational due diligence services.
Previously, he was Head of HSBC Securities Services, Bermuda, a division with more than 200 alternative funds and institutional clients and more than 200 staff performing full service fund administration including fund accounting, investor servicing, corporate management, institutional and fund-of-funds custody and credit.
He was also a Member of the Management Committee of Bank of Bermuda, a subsidiary of HSBC.
Before that, he was responsible for building a 10 person fund accounting team into a full service fund administration group with over 100 staff for the Bank of Bermuda (New York) Limited.
He also served as a director for a number of prestigious hedge funds.
Mr. Kliva began his career at Price Waterhouse as an Investment Company Industry Specialist in its Audit Department.
He has also worked as a Financial Analyst for Goldman Sachs Asset Management and as a Fixed Income Manager and Operational Risk Manager for Chase Manhattan Bank.
Mr. Kliva holds a BBA with Distinction from the Baruch College of the City University of New York.
