Mr. Lynch is head of tax-exempt research at Banc One Capital Markets in Chicago where he provides analysis on electric utilities, project finance and special revenue issues.
Prior to joining the capital markets group, Mr. Lynch was a Director of Fixed Income Research for Bank One Investment Advisors providing credit support for the Bank’s $20 billion mutual fund portfolio.
Mr. Lynch began his career as an investment analyst first at Standard and Poor’s and then at Municipal Bond Investors Assurance in New York.
Mr. Lynch graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BA in Public Policy and Finance and an MS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Urban Planning/Finance.

Dr. Lynch also founded Catena Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where he worked as Vice President-Biological Sciences from 2010 to 2013.
Dr. Lynch also currently works at The University of Virginia School of Medicine, as Vice Chairman and the University of Virginia, as Professor-Pharmacology & Biochemistry from 2012.
Dr. Lynch received his doctorate degree in 1980 from the University of Rhode Island.

Lynch is the founder of Townsend Holdings LLC, which was founded in 1983.
He held the title of Principal from 1983 to 2017.
Mr. Lynch's former jobs include being an Independent Director at First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. from 2011 to 2013, a Trustee at Lexington Corporate Properties Trust from 1996 to 2007, an Independent Trustee at LXP Industrial Trust from 2011 to 2017, and a Trustee at LXP Industrial Trust from 1996 to 2000.
He was also a Member of the Pension Real Estate Association and the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries, and a Trustee of The Lexington Master LP.
