Scutaru joined BDC in December 2002.
He has a wealth of experience in the aerospace and telecommunications industries in research and development, business and corporate development, finance and strategic planning.
He was also involved with the creation of several start-up companies and with several strategic acquisitions.
Prior to joining BDC, Dr. Scutaru was with Nortel Networks working with the Wireless Networks Global Strategy group.
Previously he was a Director of Strategic Planning with Telesystem International Wireless.
He was also a research and development Engineer for Centrale Recherche S.A.
in France.
Dr. Scutaru holds a Ph.D.
in Physics from Ecole Centrale Paris, a Master of Science in lasers technology from University of Paris XI, and a Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Queen's University.
