Martin Chavez

Martin Chavez is a Co-founder and Managing Partner of NMS.
Martin has more than 20 years of private equity, general management and investment banking experience and supervises all NMS investment activities.
Prior to forming NMS in 2010, Martin was a Managing Director in the Merchant Banking Division of Goldman Sachs and one of two senior members charged with investing in and leading the group of portfolio companies acquired by NMS from Goldman Sachs.
During his tenure at Goldman Sachs, he also held roles in the Investment Banking Division and Principal Investment Area.
While in the Investment Banking Division, Martin specialized in mergers and acquisitions, advising publicly and privately held corporations across a wide array of industries in the industrial and business services sectors.
Additionally, he was an Associate at SBC Warburg and an Engineer for 3M Corporation focusing on manufacturing operations.
Martin received an M.B.A.
from Harvard Business School in 1997 and a B.S.
in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1993.
Martin has also completed the Harvard Business School Executive Education Board of Directors Leadership program.
