Luiz B. Da Silva

Luiz B. Da Silva co-founded Therative, Inc. and curretnly serves as Chief Technology Officer.
He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society and the Optical Society of America.
Dr. Da Silva is a Member of the Scientific Advisory Board at the University of California, Davis and the National Science Foundation Center for Biophotonics Science and Technology.
He is Founder of DermaHealth Systems and ImagiNail Corp.
and served as Chief Technology Officer.
Dr. Da Silva was Chief Technology Officer and a Consultant of BioLuminate, Inc. from 2001 to 2003.
He was and Associate Program Leader of the Medical Technology Program at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) from 1998 to 2001.
Previously, Dr. Da Silva was a Consultant at Johnson & Johnson, Guidant Corp., Boston Scientific Corp., and Cyclotec Medical.
He has over 8 years of medical device research and development experience in the industry, university and national laboratories.
Dr. Da Silva received a PhD in Physics from the University of British Columbia in 1988.
