Kathrin Kaestner

Ms. Kathrin Kaestner is a Researcher at RWI - Leibniz-Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung e.V.
Kathrin Kaestner has been working as a researcher in the research unit "Environment and Resources” at RWI since January 2020.
Before that, she worked as a student assistant in the research unit "Environment and Resources" at RWI, where she also wrote her master's thesis.
As a student assistant, Kathrin Kaestner was also responsible for a field study in Ghana and Ivory Coast in the research group "Climate Change in Developing Countries." She studied economics (B.Sc.) at the University of Münster and the Nagoya University of Commerce and Business, Japan.
After an internship at RWI in spring 2017, she studied Economics (M.Sc.) at the University of Cologne.
