Karolina Zubel

Ms. Karolina Zubel is an Economist at Centrum Analiz Spoleczno-Ekonomicznych.
Her work has been at the intersection of sustainability, low-carbon technology and innovation as well as new financial instruments for global challenges.
Additionally, she has worked on numerous projects commissioned by Committee of the Regions focusing on local and regional authorities from different angles.
Prior to Centrum Analiz Spoleczno-Ekonomicznych, Ms. Zubel was a Head of Impact Research Hub at ImpactCEE, leading projects across a range of horizontal issues.
Among others, she published on climate change mitigation, post-carbon cities and 5G network technology for urban areas.
Previously, she has also worked for the European External Action Service and the Polish Institute of International Affairs.
Moreover, Ms. Zubel represents the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers community, working mainly on projects focusing on green and sustainable development.
She holds a MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science and BA from the University of Warsaw and Sciences Po Paris.
