Abraaj-PE is a hands-on manager which invests through their regional private equity funds in established small- to mid-cap unlisted firms in emerging markets. The firm provides capital for expansion and buy-outs, typically investing USD 2-10 million in outstanding family-owned businesses with at least five to seven years of history, which are often a niche market leader and which always have solid ESG credentials. Abraaj-PE seeks to offset risk through diversified portfolio management.
