Douglas Shumate

Douglas A. Shumate has been Chief Financial Officer of ITC^DeltaCom, Inc. since March 1997.
He was Chief Financial Officer of the Managing Partners of Interstate FiberNet and Gulf States FiberNet from January 1995 to March 1997.
He was Vice President of Finance of the Telecommunications Operations Group from May 1991 to January 1995.
He joined the Regulated Industry Group of Arthur Andersen & Co. in December 1986.
He received a Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia.
He is a Certified Public Accountant.
