Jessen was the founder of 2cureX ApS (founded in 2006) and SCIENAMICS GmbH (founded in 2004), where he holds the title of Director and Chief Executive Officer respectively.
He was also the founder of Topas Therapeutics GmbH (founded in 2015) and 2cureX AB (founded in 2006), where he held the title of Chief Executive Officer and Independent Director respectively.
Dr. Jessen is also the founder of DeveloGen AG.
Dr. Jessen's former job positions include Chief Executive Officer at bionamics GmbH, Member at Hoechst AG, Chief Operating & Scientific Officer-OAL at Evotec SE (from 1997 to 2004), and Principal at Hmr.
In terms of education, Dr. Jessen obtained an undergraduate degree from the University of Kiel and a doctorate degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
