Edgewater Asset Management LLC (Edgewater) is an independent wealth advisory and investment management firm headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The firm was founded by Lynne Mallory and Steven Winter in 1996. Edgewater provides investment advice to individuals, families, corporations, trusts and estates.

In 1915 Charles Edward Merrill founded Merrill Lynch & Co. (NYSE: MER) with Edmund C. Lynch in Baltimore, Maryland. The modern Merrill Lynch was formed in 1940 through mergers with E.A.
