Robert Cardinal

Robert Cardinal served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Executive Vice President of Finance, Administration and Strategic Development for Laurentian Bank of Canada from 2004 to January 5, 2009.
He joined Laurentian Bank of Canada in 1991 as Vice President of Finance and was appointed Senior Vice President of Finance and Control in 1994, Executive Vice President of Finance, Audit and Strategic Development in 1998 and Senior Executive Vice President of Finance, Control and Strategic Development in 2001.
He joined National Bank of Canada in 1984 as Chief Accountant and Manager of Accounting and was appointed Vice President and Controller in 1986.
Mr. Cardinal joined Price Waterhouse in 1973 as an Auditor and was a Senior Advisor of Management, an Audit Supervisor and an Audit Manager.
He received a Bachelor of Administration degree from HEC Montreal and completed the Bank Financial Management Program of the Institute of Canadian Bankers and is a Chartered Accountant.
