EC's investment strategy focuses on generation change, growth, restructuring and turnaround opportunities in the Nordic region. They are a long-term investor preferring to target established firms active in industry, trade and service sectors. They look for stable firms with an annual turnover ranging from DKK 25 million to 250 million. In particular, they select firms with a business model shaped around social, ethical or environmental aspects. EC acts as sole-investor or alongside other financing partners. They seek to significantly influence their portfolio firms and work closely with the companies' management teams to ensure growth and development. Their investment horizon spans five to eight years. They also consider investing over longer periods should they deem necessary.
