Love Goel

Mr. Love Goel serves as Chairman & CEO of GVG Capital Group.
Previously, he worked as COO at Federated Department Stores, the parent of Macy's and Bloomingdales.
Prior to that, as COO, hel was instrumental in the internet transformation of Fingerhut.
Thereafter, he served as CEO of Personify.
Earlier in his career, he was a management consultant at Deloitte Consulting (Braxton) and EDS on transformational projects at marquee clients like Sears, Supervalu, The Navy Exchange, Prudential, Cargill and Carlson.
A corporate governance expert, he serves on several corporate and non-profit boards - most notably as Chairman of Whitney Automotive Group and as Chairman of the Advisory Board of The Fashion School at Kent State University.
Mr. Goel is frequently sought for his thought leadership and featured by news outlets like The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, CNN, and The Economic Times of India.
In 2007, he served as a columnist for Multi-Channel Merchant, the leading trade journal for the multi-channel retail industry.
In 2009, he was recognized among Minnesota’s top 40 leaders under 40 for business and community leadership.
In 2010, he was named a Henry Crown Fellow of The Aspen Institute.
As a Regents’ Scholar, the most prestigious academic recognition and full scholarship at the University of Minnesota, he pursued degrees in Computer Science and Finance.
He was the nation's only freshman selected to the USA Today All-American College Academic Team.
He worked his way through college and earned numerous national and international awards for leadership and scholarship including the Presidential Leadership Award, Tylenol Leaders Award, and MN Supercomputing Institute Award.
