Mr. Lawrence T.

Mr. Perera joined Hemenway & Barnes in 1979.
He has been active in the field of trust and estate law since commencing practice in 1962.
In the past, Mr. Perera has served as an independent director of the Scudder, Stevens and Clark Common Stock and Balanced Funds.
He currently serves as a trustee of Massachusetts Investors Trust and various other investment companies managed by Massachusetts Financial Services Company of Boston.

Ammi Cutter of the Supreme Judicial Court, Mr. Perera joined the firm of Palmer & Dodge, where he practiced until he was appointed a judge of the Middlesex County Probate Court in 1974.
Mr. Perera graduated from Harvard College in 1957 and Harvard Law School in 1961.
