Kathleen Burkett

Ms. Kathleen Burkett is a Managing Director-Financial Planning Services at Triangle Securities Wealth Management, Inc. In 2005, She left Wachovia Securities and joined Triangle Securities to lead our Personal Financial Planning services.
At Triangle Securities, she works closely with our relationship managers and portfolio strategists to create and implement strategies to help families grow and protect their financial assets.
She began her career in the Internal Audit Department at Butcher & Singer in Philadelphia PA in 1987.
As an internal auditor, she worked with a team examining internal controls to safeguard client and firm assets.
She also worked with external auditors to review firm financial statements and regulatory accounting practices.
Butcher & Singer merged with Wheat First Securities and she relocated to Richmond VA in 1989.
Later that same year, she earned the distinction Certified Public Accountant.
In 1993, She joined the Financial Strategies Department of Wheat First as a Financial Planning & Retirement Plans Specialist.
A graduate of Penn State, Ms. Burkett has been a Certified Financial Planner practitioner since 1994 and is a member of the Financial Planning Association.
