Julia Davourie

Julia Davourie is a General Partner with PVP’s Seed Fund and a Principal with PVP’s main fund.
Julia is focused on hardware-enabled platform companies that are transforming traditional industries and protecting the natural environment.
She invests in teams that share her passion for rethinking industrial processes in order to meet human needs while protecting the planet.
She is a Board Observer with Wavefront Dynamics and FibreCoat.
Previously, Julia was investing with Small World Group, PVP Seed Fund’s predecessor led by Frank Levinson.
Julia also analyzed Private Equity investments for two years at Canadian Shield Capital, a PE firm focused on mining, energy and industrial companies.
Prior to Canadian Shield, Julia was a Senior Engineer for Hatch, a global engineering-consulting firm focused on mining, energy and infrastructure, advising industrial clients with solutions to reduce their operating costs, energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
Julia holds both a MS in Energy Engineering from INSA Lyon (France), and a MS in Environmental Engineering from Mines ParisTech (France) and Tsinghua University (China).
Julia grew up in Paris, France, and lived, studied and worked in France, Canada and China before settling in the Bay Area.
