Mr. Gilles de Dumast began his career with JP Morgan in 1983 and then moved to Bankers Trust International PLC in London where he was Managing Director in charge of Derivatives for Europe from 1985 to 1995.
In 1995 he joined Crédit Suisse First Boston as Joint-Head of CSFB France and member of the Global Executive Committee in New York.
He moved to Deutsche Bank in 2003 as Head of Corporate Banking for France.
In 2004 he became Advisor to Hervé Gaymard, the French Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry.
Born in 1958, Gilles de Dumast is a graduate of Université de Nancy II and the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris.
