Gary Wang

Gary Wang is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Jade Capital Management LLC.
Mr. Wang is also one of the founding members of Quanta Capital, a Bermuda based insurance and reinsurance company listed on NASDAQ in 2004, and China Rapid Finance, China’s leading consumer finance solutions provider listed on NYSE in 2017.
Mr. Wang was formerly the head of Asia Credit Derivatives of Barclays Capital and was ranked by Institutional Investor as one of the top three global credit derivatives houses after two years of operations.
Mr. Wang started his career as a quantitative analyst at Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco and subsequently an options trader of Barclays Capital in New York.
He has a BS in Physics from Peking University and a Ph.D.
in Theoretical Physics from the University of California, San Diego.
Mr. Wang grew up in Shanghai and currently resides in New York.
