Delaney is Partner at Hemenway & Barnes LLP and Senior Vice President at Hemenway Trust Co. LLC.
Mr. Delaney joined Hemenway & Barnes in 1998.
Mr. Delaney has recently published articles in the Virginia Tax Review, The Monthly Digest of Tax Articles, Banker & Tradesman, Financial Planning Magazine and Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.
In addition to his professional activities, Mr.Delaney is active in his community of Harvard.
As a member of the Harvard Conservation Trust, he advises potential donors on the tax advantages of various land conservation techniques.
Mr. Delaney received his undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont in 1989 and his law degree from Boston University School of Law (magna cum laude) in 1996, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review and the recipient of the Dr. John Ordronaux Prize.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Delaney worked in the mutual fund industry for Eaton Vance and later U.S.
Trust.
After graduating law school, he practiced in the Trusts & Estates area at Choate, Hall & Stewart in Boston.
