For equities and bonds, the firm’s analyst team conducts fundamental analysis of companies based on their macro and microeconomic environment, competitive advantage and financial situation. They build portfolios with the approval of investment recommendations and strategic decisions concerning portfolios from the investment committee. Their fund managers decide on the shares of investments in portfolios.

BZ WBK-AM is an active manager which employs a bottom-up approach to invest in stocks of companies with solid fundamentals. They seek to identify companies with strong financials and strong positioning, utilizing fundamental research methods including research reports, market analysis, proprietary data and company visits to make investment choices. The firm specializes in equity and fixed-income investments in the Eastern European markets, allocating assets across a range of instruments including equities and equity-like instruments, bonds and money market instruments, government bonds and notes, municipal bonds, corporate bonds, mortgage debentures, fixed-income securities issued or guaranteed by the State Treasury and National Bank of Poland and international equity funds. BZ WBK-AM invests in a variety of sectors including real estate construction, road construction, banking and global energy.
