Ajax boekte zondagmiddag een prachtige zege in Alkmaar. Tegen AZ won de ploeg van Erik ten Hag met 0-3. Met de driepunter op de laatste dag van januari, zette Ajax een krachtige punt achter een goede maand. Van de zeven wedstrijden won de ploeg zes keer.
