Part of Estate of Ng Teng Fong, Westminster Fire Station Ltd. is a unique, design-led development of just 17 apartments and a landmark restaurant. The company was founded in 1906 and is based in London, UK. The development comprises six apartments within the historic fire station and 11 modern apartments within the new station house designed by Openstudio Architects. The private courtyard, once a turning circle for fire trucks and an exercise yard for the firemen, now serves as a calm and secluded respite from busy city life. The architecture throughout the buildings, new and old, sit together harmoniously, with bespoke brass screens inspired by the building's cast iron features adorning the station house windows. The development also features a restaurant, Mathura, from pioneering and twice Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar.
