Tadashi Mukai

Mr. Tadashi Mukai is on the Board of Directors at Nomura Securities Co., Ltd.
Mr. Mukai was previously employed as a Senior Fund Manager by Epic Partners Investments Co. Ltd.
From February 1989 to March 1998 at Yamaichi International Capital Management, Mr. Mukai was a Japanese and Global Equity Manager of separately managed accounts for Japanese & US pension funds, also a Sub Equity Manager for Japanese Equity portion of Frank Russell Multi-Manager fund.
From April 1998 to July 2005 at Tokio Marine Asset Management, he was Head of Quantitative Research and Investment.
Managed 3 portfolios with assets of $900 mil and developed quant models for Japanese & Global equity strategies.
From August 2005 to July 2008, at UMJ where he gave advice to UMJ Neutro Fund as Chief Fund Manager.
Mr. Mukai left UMJ (United Managers Japan) and joined Epic in August 2008.
Mr. Mukai obtained an MBA in Finance from Hitotsubashi University in 2005 and a B.S.
in Engineering from Kansai University in 1988.
