Salem Patel

Mr. Salem Patel, CFA, is a Chief Investment Officer at Gulf Finance House BSC.
He is on the Board of Directors at Al Khaleej Funds & Investment Co. He holds a number of Directorships including Al Khaleej Funds and Investment Company (Al Basha’er GCC Equity Fund) and Sheffield School.
He is responsible for the sourcing, structuring and management of a number of the firm’s most prominent investments across the GCC, UK and US, including AMA, The Sheffield School, Queens Gate Gardens, Diversified US Residential Portfolio, Leeds United Football Club, Injazat Technology Fund and Al Basha’er GCC Equity Fund.
He brings over 20 years of extensive local and international financial industry experience to the Group.
Previously, Mr. Patel worked in the Financial Services Division with Accenture in London.
Before this, he worked as a Financial Analyst with Longview Partners in London where he held roles in Equity Research at UBS and Societe Generale.
He also served on the board at Leeds United Football Club Ltd.
Mr. Patel graduated from the City University Business School in London (1998) with a B.S.C (Hons) in Business Studies specializing in Finance.
