Lawrence A. Howard

Dr. Howard has been a Senior Managing Director of Hudson Ventures since 1996.
After practicing medicine from 1981 to 1988, he co-founded Presstek, Inc., a publicly held graphic arts technology company whose market value grew from $12 million to over $800 million under his direction.
Dr. Howard served as President and CEO of Presstek from 1987 until 1992.
He has been credited as one of the key architects behind Presstek's success and supervised its initial private financing, public offering in 1989 and subsequent private financing.
Dr. Howard served on the Presstek Board of Directors for over twenty years.
Dr. Howard has worked since 2012 as a consultant to The Villages, the largest retirement community in the US, assisting them in building a "state of the art" healthcare delivery system.
Dr. Howard currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of iCAD, inc., also a publicly held company.
Dr. Howard served as the President of the Board of Trustees of Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School from 2008 until 2011, where he remains as Chairman Emeritus and a member of that Board.
Dr. Howard also serves on the University of New Hampshire Foundation Board of Trustees, and was a Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Howard was also the Entrepreneur-in-Residence and an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Florida Center for Entrepreneurship.
Dr. Howard holds a B.S.
degree from the University of New Hampshire and a M.D.
degree from New York Medical College.
