Hunter, CFA, is a Senior Investment Associate & Portfolio Manager at Canaccord Genuity Corp.
He takes great care to understand each client’s financial needs and goals, focusing on delivering comprehensive wealth management services to his clients.
With the knowledge that these needs and goals evolve over time, he ensures that wealth plans are nimble and adapt to changing market conditions and personal circumstances.
Prior to joining the financial industry, he worked on a project in Jakarta, Indonesia with Nathan Associates in a joint effort with the Association of South East Asian Nations and the US Agency of International Development to help link the private and public sectors and address the region’s socio-economic welfare.
Mr. Hunter joined Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management from Haywood Securities in 2011, where he worked alongside a Senior Portfolio Manager that specialized in growth investments.
He received his undergraduate degree and obtained his Master’s in Food and Resource Economics from the University of British Columbia.
He holds the Chartered Investment Manager and the Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designations and is licensed to trade options.
