Mr. Machida is a Advisor at Next Capital Partners Co. Ltd.
Previously, he developed his career at PwCFAS (current PwC Advisory) for 7 years and involved in bulk sale of non-performing loans, advisory services for bankrupted financial institutions, M&A, turnaround transaction mainly based on voluntary bankruptcy and feasibility study of investment funds.
Mr. Machida has expertise especially in the restructuring process of locally well-known companies, covering the whole procedure from restructuring planning to negotiating with the banks and other stakeholders.
His career started at Fuji Bank (current Mizuho Bank) and he was mainly in charge of loan collection from the distressed companies, management of bonds portfolio and funding in the money market.
