Hawkins is the founder and CEO of Hawk Associates, Inc. founded in 1995.
He is also the founder of Vietnam Financial Media Corp.
Currently, he holds director positions at PHI Group, Inc., Secure Outcomes, Inc., and Florida Keys Electric Cooperative Association, Inc. He is a member of The United States Army (District of Columbia), Association of Former Intelligence Officers, Audubon Society (Ohio), Who's Who in America, and Who's Who Worldwide Ltd.
In the past, he held director positions at Chinese Manufacturers Online Corp.
and Asia Cork, Inc. He was also the President of Zoo Miami Foundation, Inc. and the Head-Investor Relations at Knight-Ridder Information Services, Inc. He was the President of Access Asia Group from 1995 to 1996 and Vice President-Corporate Relations & Planning at Knight-Ridder, Inc. from 1980 to 1994.
He received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and also attended the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center.
