Britton Payne

Mr. Britton Payne is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP where he is a member of the Trademark, Copyright & Advertising and IP Litigation Practices.
He focuses his practice in the area of intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, litigation, the Internet, unfair competition and trade dress.
He also provides intellectual property counseling on issues relating to business transactions, including due diligence, agreement/contract drafting and licensing.
Prior to joining Foley, Mr. Payne was an associate with Darby & Darby P.C.
in its Trademark, Copyright & Unfair Competition and Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Groups.
Mr. Payne received his J.D., cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law in 2007, where he was editor-in chief of the Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal and served on the Fordham Law Moot Court Board.
He received his B.A.
from Yale University in 1992.
