Adam Handlos

Adam is the Chief Financial Officer at Franklin Templeton Private Equity (FTPE).
He has fifteen years of experience in alternative investment management and is responsible for leading the firm’s finance, back office, and compliance functions.
Prior to FTPE, Adam served as Director of Operations at TPG Sixth Street Partners (TSSP), where he was responsible for overseeing treasury as well as the implementation of ongoing operational controls for private deals.
Adam also served in TSSP’s Accounting department, overseeing financial and performance reporting, managing relationships with various service providers, and interfacing with institutional investors.
Previously, Adam spent eight years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the investment management assurance practice auditing private equity, venture capital, hedge, and mutual funds.
He also worked on several engagements assisting asset managers with the design and implementation of their control environment.
Adam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Fordham University and is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
