Draghi formeel nieuwe premier Italie

Hoofd van zakenkabinet.

(ABM FN-Dow Jones) Oud-voorzitter van de Europese Centrale Bank Mario Draghi is zaterdag formeel beëdigd als nieuwe premier van Italië. 

Volgende week wacht het zakenkabinet van Draghi nog een parlementaire vertrouwensstemming.

Draghi, die van 2011 tot 2019 de scepter zwaaide bij de ECB, moet Italië uit de coronacrisis helpen. Zijn voorganger Giuseppe Conte kreeg veel kritiek op zijn aanpak van de pandemie en nam vorige maand ontslag.
