Previously, he worked as the Chief Information Officer & Global Head-IT at Bank Julius Bär & Co. AG from 2012 to 2017.
He was also the Head-Strategic Project Management at UBS Group AG from 2001 to 2003 and the Head-Investment Clients & Securities at Union Bank of Switzerland from 1996 to 1997.
Additionally, he served as the Chief Operating Officer at Ehinger & Armand von Ernst AG from 2004 to 2006.
Dr. Monstein obtained a graduate degree and a doctorate from the University of St. Gallen in 1991 and 1994 respectively.
He also holds a graduate degree from the University of St. Gallen, which he received in 1988.
