Hess Corporation is gespecialiseerd in de exploratie en productie van ruwe olie en aardgas. De activiteit is georganiseerd rond drie productfamilies:
- ruwe olie: 194.000 vaten ruwe olie geproduceerd per dag in 2022;
- aardgas: 16,1 miljoen m3 aardgas geproduceerd per dag;
- vloeibaar aardgas: 55.000 vaten vloeibaar aardgas geproduceerd per dag.
De netto-omzet is geografisch als volgt verdeeld: de Verenigde Staten (63,7%), Guyana (23,3%), Maleisië (7,7%) en overig (5,3%).
