William Pearson

William N.
Pearson is the founder of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario, which was founded in 2000.
He served as the President from 2000 to 2003.
Currently, Dr. Pearson holds the position of President & Chief Executive Officer at Tucano Exploration, Inc. since 2010.
He is also the Executive Vice President-Exploration at Eloro Resources Ltd.
since 2018.
Additionally, he is the President of Pearson Geological Ltd.
since 1990.
In his former roles, Dr. Pearson served as the President, Chief Executive Officer & Director of Coastal Gold Corp.
from 2010 to 2015.
He was a Director at Largo Inc. from 2003 to 2011.
He also served as an Independent Director at Transition Metals Corp.
from 2013 to 2023.
Furthermore, he held the position of Vice President-Exploration at Desert Sun Mining Corp.
from 2002 to 2006 and at William Resources, Inc. from 1996 to 1999.
He was the Executive Vice President-Exploration at Central Sun Mining, Inc. from 2007 to 2009.
Prior to that, he was a Partner & Senior Geologist at Derry Michener Booth & Wahl Consultants Ltd.
from 1980 to 1990.
He also served as the President of Pearson, Hofman & Associates from 1990 to 1996.
Dr. Pearson obtained his graduate and doctorate degrees from Queen's University in 1980.
He also holds an undergraduate degree from the University of British Columbia, which he received in 1974.
