Tom L. Portland

Mr. Portland spent most of his career with Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., an international supplier of industrial gases, chemicals and related equipment with annual sales of $10 billion, operations in 35 countries, and 20,000 employees.
Most recently, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Air Products' $1.4 billion Bulk Gases Division, where he had P&L responsibility and led the development and implementation of a new business model for the division.
He also served as head of marketing for the company's $5 billion global gases business, spanning all 35 countries with 12,000 employees and 250,000 customers.
Prior to this role, he worked for five years as Vice President and General Manager for Air Products' global $1 billion General Industries and Metals Division.
Prior to that, Mr. Portland spent several years in different leadership roles at Air Products, including managing its $300 million European Onsites, Equipment and Energy Division in London, $200 million Global Equipment Group, and $150 million Texas Gases Group.
Mr. Portland received his B.S.
and M.S.
in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University and has taken several advanced business courses at Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business, The University of Virginia's Darden School of Business, and The University of Chicago.
