Capital International KK (Japan) (Capital Japan) is the wholly-owned Japanese investment management subsidiary of Capital Group International, Inc., ultimately held by The Capital Group Cos., Inc. in the US. The firm is headquartered in Tokyo and was founded in 1986. Capital Japan provides investment advisory services to Japanese investors including pension plans, corporations, public funds, endowments and high-net worth individuals. They also offer mutual funds or segregated accounts, and their products include Japanese, European, global and emerging markets equity funds.

Deutsche Asset Management (Japan) Ltd. (DeAM-JP) is the Japanese fund management branch of Deutsche Asia Pacific Holdings Pte Ltd., ultimately held by Deutsche Bank AG (NYSE: DB) in Germany. Established in 1985, the firm is located in Tokyo and provides a full range of asset management products and fund management services for individual and institutional investors including public and private pension funds. The Tokyo team manages domestic and overseas public and private pension funds for institutional clients, outsources the management of other funds and distributes a range of mutual funds for retail investors. They are a signatory to the Principles for Responsible Institutional Investors (Japan’s Stewardship Code) which seeks to promote sustainable growth of companies through investment and dialogue.
