Dr. Simon C.
Young is NPL Quantitative Analyst at Haymarket Financial LLP.
He joined HayFin in 2011 and is a member of the HayFin investment team.
Prior to joining HayFin, he worked as a statistician in chemical and insurance companies and then ran his own consultancy business.
Since 1995, he has been working in the credit industry, initially for two credit reference agencies.
More recently, he has worked for two debt purchasing companies: 1st Credit and Experto Credite.
He acted as Chief Risk Officer for both organisations with responsibility for all analysis, including the pricing of potential deals.
For 1st Credit, he was also responsible for the Trace department and was a Board member of Reintegra, a Spanish debt collection company part owned by 1st Credit.
Dr. Young is a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society and is a Chartered Statistician.
He graduated from the University of Warwick with a PhD in Statistics.
