Mr. Brain R.
Smead is Chief Investment Officer at Halcyon Loan Management LLC.

As head of Prudential’s bank loan team from 1998 to 2006, he was responsible for over $3.5 billion of assets under management, through structured products and institutional accounts.
Prior to joining the U.S.
Bank Loan Desk, he worked in Private Fixed Income at Prudential Investment Management, where he held positions of increasing responsibility from 1985 to 1997.
Mr. Smead received his M.B.A.
from the University of Chicago and his B.B.A.
from the University of Texas at Austin.
