Rosemary Vilgan

Ms. Rosemary Vilgan is Chief Executive Officer at QSuper Ltd.
She leads the Executive Committee in managing the operations of QSuper Limited to help members achieve better retirement outcomes.
Her other roles include being a Queensland Government Superannuation Officer, a Member of Council and Chair of the Audit and Risk Management Committee for the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Director of the Australian Council of Superannuation Investors (ACSI) and a member of the Federal Treasurer's Financial Sector Advisory Council (FSAC).
She began her professional life at what was the Justice and Premier's department under Sir Joh Bjelke-Petersen while studying business at Queensland University of Technology.
She then moved to Treasury, and contributed to the development of QSuper.
Ms. Vilgan was previously elected Director of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) and served six years as Chairman of its Board.
In 2013 Ms. Vilgan was named as the 2013 Telstra Australian Business Woman of the Year.
Ms. Rosemary Vilgan holds a Bachelor of Business in Marketing, a Diploma of Superannuation Management (dux) and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
