R. Rand Ray

Mr. Ray joined the CapSources team in 2001 as Sr. Investment Analyst/Credit Manager.
He is responsible for evaluating and managing the portfolio investments of the CapSource Fund, L.P.
and the CapSource 2000 Fund, L.P.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of several portfolio companies including On-Site Fuel Services, Inc. and Kiko Foods, Inc. Prior to joining CapSources, Mr. Rand managed the Jackson, Mississippi office of a Baton Rouge, Louisiana based Certified Capital Company focused on debt and equity financings for small businesses.
Other prior experience includes portfolio management, financial analysis, business development and corporate planning in various industries including telecommunications, banking and government.
In addition to his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Mississippi, he also graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mississippi College with a Masters in Business Administration.
He is also a graduate of the Venture Capital Institute.
