FareShare is a UK-based charity organization that fights hunger and food waste. The British company collects surplus food from the food industry, sort it in their regional warehouses, and distribute it to nearly 8,500 charities and community groups, including food banks, pantries, hostels, refuges, community centers, and hospices. Three-quarters of the organizations they support are those that help children and families. During the last financial year, they redistributed the equivalent of nearly 128 million meals. The CEO of the non-profit company is Lindsay Boswell.
