Nate Byrd

Mr. Nathan G.
Byrd, CFA MBA, is a Director at Hamilton Point Investment Advisors LLC.
In addition to providing investment management and financial planning services to Hamilton Point clients, Mr. Byrd is a member of the Investment Committee and a portfolio manager.
His experience includes serving as a co-portfolio manager for a mutual fund and various separately managed account strategies.
Before joining Hamilton Point in 2013, he worked at Altrius Capital Management as a Portfolio Manager, co-managing a mutual fund and several separate account investment strategies.
Prior to that, he was a Portfolio Manager for Wachovia Wealth Management, overseeing the investments for more than $800 million in private client assets.
He volunteers locally as President for the Rotary Club of Chapel Hill, on the Finance Committee for the North Carolina Botanical Gardens, and as a Trustee for the Eagles Nest Foundation.
Mr. Byrd earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Economics from Wake Forest University in 2006.
He received a Masters in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business in 2011.
