Mike Pilson

Mike Pilson is Vice President-Corporate Geology and Geophysics of Frontera Resources Corp.
He joined Frontera in October 2005 as Senior Geophysical Advisor and was appointed as General Manager-Exploration of Frontera Eastern Georgia Limited in December 2005.
From 1999 to 2002, Mr. Pilson worked for Frontera in a consulting capacity on various exploration and production projects in Georgia and Azerbaijan.
He began his career with Conoco in 1975 working in the Gulf of Mexico.
From 1980 to 1998, Mr. Pilson worked for Union Texas Petroleum in domestic and international business units, where he held a variety of technical positions including Exploration Manager and Strategic Planning Manager.
From 2002 to 2005, he served as Production and Operations Manager for Petroci USA, Inc. Mr. Pilson has over 30 years of experience in US and international oil and gas basins.
He received a BS degree from Virginia State University and an MS degree from the University of Washington.
